Appointment Stage form
The first step to configure appointments, is to add an Appointment stage to your gate configuration for the DB and RB transactions. You can use the Appointment Stage form to add or edit an appointment stage for the selected gate configuration. You can only create one appointment stage for each gate configuration.
After you add an appointment stage, you can create appointment transaction types and appointment forms to allow users to create appointments from the Operations Gate
Appointments view.
Users can not create appointments in the Operations Gate
Appointments view (on page 1) unless a gate is associated with a gate configuration that has an existing appointment stage, and an appointment rule set is associated with the gate. For more information, see Appointment Rule Set form (on page 1).
To add or edit an appointment stage:
In the Stage ID field, enter an ID that uniquely identifies the appointment stage for the gate configuration.
You can specify any user-defined value as the appointment stage ID.
In the Description field, enter a short description for the appointment stage.
Click Save.
The appointment stage added for a gate configuration displays in the left pane of the Gate Configurations view. If the appointment stage is not visible, click the plus sign next to the gate configuration entity to expand the tree.
If you add an appointment stage, you must define the stage order for any gate stages associated with the gate configuration. For more information, see Gate Stage form (on page 1).
